Earthquake hits India's town of Sahibganj

An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.3 on the Richter Scale hit Sahibganj, Jharkhand today at 12:07 pm local time.


Sahebganj is a scenic town with the serene ganga and sturdy hills maintained by Municipality of Sahebganj district of Jharkhand state, India, which also serves as the district headquarters for Sahibganj District.

The Earthquake occurred  at a depth of 10 kilometres according to the NCS.
