Breaking News: Libyan arms and ammunition supplier to Bandits arrested by security forces

Libyan arms dealers suppling arms & ammunition to bandits terrorising  NorthWest region were today, 9th August 2020, intercepted by the security forces of Niger Republic before they crossed into Nigeria territory. Four killed while one of them (arrowed in the pic) was caught & arrested.

It will be recalled that on February 17th this year, President Muhammadu Buhari had said the fall of Libya was largely responsible for the large volume of arms and terrorists entering Nigeria.

Now, that the killing and arrest of Libya arms dealers by the Niger Security forces don vindicates @MBuhari, we hope dat our mainstream media and their online colleagues would be kind enough to relate the story to their readers, some of which are actually gullible (self imposed).

Kano to establish 130 girl secondary schools

Kano State Government says it has concluded arrangements to establish additional 130 Girls Secondary Schools in the state. Sanusi Kiru, the state’s Commissioner of Education, made the disclosure in an interview with newsmen, on Sunday in Kano. Sanusi said the schools would be established in 24 selected Local Government Areas of the state, adding that the project would comprised of 75 post basic and 55 senior secondary schools. He said the measure was part of deliberate efforts to boost girl-child education in the state. Sanusi said: “The state government in collaboration with the World Bank will rehabilitate other schools to enhance girl child education “The state government has also set aside N880 million to renovate one secondary school in each of the 44 LGAs of the state.” According to him, the state government will provide N20 million to each of the LGAs for the school rehabilitation project. CAMA 2020 and Bishop Oyedepo

I saw a video where Bishop Oyedepo of Winners Chapel and some pastors were telling their congregations that the Registrar General of the #Corporate_Affairs_Commission has been empowered to unilaterally remove Trustees of a church without recourse to the court and that such removal shall be final. I think the Bishop misinterpreted the Act. I dont know if the Bishop was referring to any other Law apart from the Companies and Allied Matters Act 2020.  Some pastors have also asked their members to fast and pray for the death of the Registrar General.
