An agricultural entrepreneur, Mr Oluwole Azeez, has urged Nigerian youths to recognise opportunities in farming and embrace the trade rather than roaming the street. Oluwole, founder of FarmKonnect Agribusiness Nigeria, stated this during the inauguration of ‘Wave City,’ an agricultural project aimed at promoting food sufficiency, national development and agricultural inclusion. He said the mission of the project is to take agriculture beyond just planting and making money, but a business that promotes food sufficiency, national development, as well as agricultural inclusion. The farmer therefore advised youths to align themselves with the current trend in the agricultural sector by recognising the opportunities in the industry.
