UK Court orders P&ID to pay Nigeria legal costs of £1.5 million

An English court found in favour of Nigeria’s pleas, heard in July, last weeweek.  Sir Ross Cranston at the Commercial Court said there appeared to be evidence of corruption in how P&ID had secured its contract. P&ID is seeking a payment of around $10 billion from Nigeria for failure to meet its side of the agreement.


An English court has ordered P&ID to pay $1.5mn in costs to Nigeria ahead of a trial that will take place after November.
